The 2017 Aquaponics Association Conference is “Putting Down Roots” and lifting up our communities, businesses, and schools with aquaponics. We’ll be getting fishy in beautiful Portland, Oregon at the Red Lion on the River, November 3-6.
This year we will explore and discuss how aquaponics can support jobs, foster community, and conserve natural resources. We’ll talk about everything from system design and business strategy, to STEM education and public policy… how better to Put Down Roots!?!
The Conference needs YOU to be successful. We will discuss what we need to move forward, as well as the role of the Association itself… Democracy in Action!?!
BEST OF ALL: Make aquaponic friends from across the nation!
The Conference will feature:
- Lessons from world-renowned experts about how to maximize the growth of your plants and fish;
- Brainstorming sessions to determine what commercial, legal, political, and financial infrastructure our industry needs;
- The most current aquaponic research from academic experts across the world and discussions of what further research is needed; and
- Advice from commercial growers about overcoming challenges in achieving profitability.
